 Ensuring the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
 Work with vendors closely to procure materials on time and right quality
 Identify issues and solve those problems/issues related to incoming materials
 Communication, Meetings & Negotiations with overseas suppliers & customers
 Participate in quality assurance process to make sure 100% right sample manufacturing
 Fully responsible design reviews and study of customer requirement
 Implementing required materials and customer instructions on bag samples
 Making sure right cutting, printing and sewing to avoid mistakes which are not complying with customer requirement.
 Implement DFM (Design for Manufacturing) / DFP (Design for Profitability) activities during product development prototypes
 Maintaining good business relationships with clients and suppliers.
 Organising and Managing customer and suppliers visits to the factory
 Leading the overseas Product Development meetings
 Training and leading the team, providing discipline and performance feedback.
 Price negotiations with material suppliers in order to meet the customer target prices.
 Sourcing materials and trims appropriate for each product’s end use
 Analysing products in order to come up with efficient and suitable cost ideas.
 Making sure the right execution of the comments released and revised sample delivery to customers
 Ensuring the samples quality and on time delivery for each customer stage
 Developing and supporting a cross functional culture of continuous improvement.
 Communication with adidas LO Pakistan (intermediate b/w factory & adidas HQ) for Indirect development.
 Making sure for the smooth transition from indirect development to DD

 Placing material orders for bulk production to overseas suppliers.
 Strong follow up for on time arrival of materials in the warehouse for the tight production timelines
 Physical Stock maintenance in ERP for daily issuance and material receiving.
 Making sure for planned issuance to production cutting and planning to avoid hassle
 Communication & meetings with suppliers, shipping companies, trading company & custom affairs.
 Warehousing for different kinds of material category wise and colour wise to avoid time wastage for issuance.
 In house material quality check-up before stacking to the material racks.
 Taking care for all the Importing process for all overseas materials.

 Making sure End line & In line quality inspectors are checking the products as per adidas quality standards
 Responsible for final adidas AQL inspections
 Making sure RFT rate is at 100% for each production line (total 12 production lines)
 Reporting daily pass rate and ensuring plan for the rejection reasons.
 Making sure adidas A01 testing standards are followed

 Worked with production planning department and assisting the planners for the work allocation and material feeding to the production lines.
 Daily production output reporting to the Production Planning Manager
 Meeting with material feeders and warehouse in order to ensure the smooth supply to lines

 Responsible for communication with customers
 Searching for new customers through internet and trade sites
 Preparation of export & bank documents
