Support the school clustering process for a long term professional development initiative (teacher training) in reading
Support in planning, implementing and facilitate training sessions at national, provincial level and district level
Support in the development/trans-adaptation of material including manuals and TIG modules
Ensure the high quality of standard in all professional development initiatives
Analyze qualitative and quantitative information on regular basis using M&EIS with respect to teacher professional development activities to report and take remedial measures for any shortcomings (where needed)

Support in the preparation of work plans and reports (annual, mid-term, quarterly, monthly etc.)
Develop materials required for in-service teacher training under the project.
Use innovation and creativity in the material development process, taking into account recent research and best practices in reading and in classroom instructions
Ensure that all the materials developed are contextually relevant, error free, in-line with the national curriculum and is appropriate for early grade reading
