A diligent and self-motivated professional acquired Master degree in International Relations & done Graduation in Law (L.L.B) with an overall experience of 20 years. I served at grassroots level from Legal Counselor to Program Manager level positions. My key functional areas include, program and project development and planning, management, coordination and implementation, capacity building, liaising, lobbying and advocacy. I have been involved in projects funded by UNHCR, Trocaire, Norwegian Church Aid, UNFPA, International Rescue Committee and Global Affairs Canada. Currently, I am working for IRC and managing UNHCR funded “Protecting Afghan Refugees through widening their access to services, assure quality of programming” project. The project is being implemented in 43 Afghan Refugee Camps spread across 19 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa- Pakistan.
The role overall primarily required to act as provincial focal point and ensure program interventions are in conformity with IRC strategy and CP/GBV Minimum Standards. In collaboration with the Head of Office-KP and CP/GBV leads, develop close coordination with Cluster Managers, partnership and communication team, MEAL unit, Finance Unit, HRD and other support units, develop tools, followed by project, monitoring, spending and procurement plans for better financial and project management.
Undertake regular field monitoring visits to assess progress and identify technical quality issues and/or other implementation issues, provide solutions and implement modifications as required. Ensure integration of CP with GBV and other sectors, including but not limited to Education, Health, Livelihood and WASH etc. Participate in all grant opening and program development, evidences, researches and capacity building for staff and partners, mid-term and closing meetings. Contribute to IRC and donor reports as per set schedules (monthly, quarterly, and annually). Build strong relationships with relevant government departments, and actors, relevant stakeholders and partners, establishing IRC as a key factor in CP/GBV. Represent IRC in relevant stakeholder meetings at provincial level such as CP/GBV Sub-Working Group, Case Management Meetings/Conferences, etc. Support partner/s in developing referral mechanisms in collaboration with partners, other NGOs, UN agencies and relevant government departments.

I worked for Hashoo Foundation as Project Coordinator and managed the UNHCR funded “Livelihood Improvement and Vocational Education (LIVE)” project being implemented in 08 Afghan Refugees Villages in five districts (Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, Swabi and Buner) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The role overall required project coordination, financial management and implementation at field level, extend technical support to project staff, review weekly monthly and quarterly workplans. To represent the foundation and coordinate with Govt departments and non-government organizations, institutions and government technical and vocational centers, technical education and vocational training (TEVET), Trade Testing Board (TTB) at district and provincial level. Selection of Afghan Refugee youth for Technical Diploma Courses and internees for job placement. Monitoring and compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Achievements & Accomplishments: Re-organize the project and staff plannings. Increased 100% visibility of intervention on social media. Accomplish distribution of toolkits among beneficiaries of artisanal skills, value chain and 6 months technical diploma courses. Improve financial management and ensure 100% budget utilization.

Interventions were implemented in selected UCs of district Peshawar and Swat and were funded by Trocaire, Norwegian Church Aid and Global Affairs Canada and International Rescue Committee (IRC).
The role required program/project development, management, identify new funding opportunities, liaison with funding agencies. Supervise development of quality Concept Notes, Proposals, create program/project budget, case studies, lessons learnt and to document best practices from program and project reviews. Coordinates regularly with project staff and stakeholders engaged in project and extend technical support. Lead capacity building of local bodies representatives, Police, religious leaders and members of advocacy groups.
Represent, coordinate and build network and coalition with Govt and Non-Govt departments, institution at district, provincial levels. Establish and functionalize Women Welfare Centers and Women and Girls Safe Spaces. Supervise SRH/GBV case workers. Approve project staff weekly, monthly and quarter plans. Achievements & Accomplishments: Introduce GBV interventions in central Swat and successfully implemented the project. Ensured funding for the projects. Conceptualize and compiled GBV Data Monitoring Report at Swat level. Launch first EVAW/G alliance in the than Provincially Administered Triable Areas Contributed. Trained more than 430 police officials, local body representatives and religious leaders. Included GBV/SRH interventions in organization strategic plan. Develop Gender/GBV mobilization and program participants safeguarding strategies and policies in coordination with management and funding agencies.
