This Project is about power-line voice communication over the existing power line network. Power-line communications is the use of in-house power supply network for communication perseverance. Power-line network has very widespread arrangement in every building and power-line is developed for transmission of power at 50-60 Hz and 230 volts. Hence use of Power-line network for transmission of voice with power supply has increased considerations. The communication approach that eventually could be used for voice transfer over the power-line network is described. Power transmission is achieved by using the principle of superimposition of voice over power in power-line cables. In particular, this technology becomes more attractive in harsh wireless environments where radio spectrum is scarce or/and propagation loss is high such as in underground structures and buildings with metal walls. PLC can support many applications such as home-networking, internet and smart grid. More specifically, PLC is considered the backbone of smart grids, not only because no extra wiring installation is required. . If the power line network is used as a channel or medium to provide a power line communication in the society it will make a tremendous breakthrough in communication. Because PLC provide voice communication services at real time and is one of the most effective ways as compared to other technology. This technology decreases the difficulty and complexity associated with the installation of new wires, which is mostly difficult for in house or in a building. The structure described can be improved and reformed for future requirements.
