Tax Associate
My Responsibilities as Tax Associate at Deloitte Pakistan includes the following:
- Reviewing/Preparing, Processing and Filing of Annual Return of Income of various companies
- Reviewing/Preparing & Processing of monthly Sales Tax Returns with both FBR
- Preparing, Processing and Filing of monthly Sales Tax on Services Returns with the Provincial Authorities.
- Annual Statements of withholding tax working and filling for salary u/s 149 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (Ordinance) & other than salary u/s 165 of the Ordinance.
- Correspondences with Tax Department of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in Pakistan against legal notices issued to clients.
- Correspondences with Tax Department on behalf of clients.
- Obtaining Exemption Certificates from Revenue Authorities
- Assisting in matters relating to Income Tax & Sales Tax Registration with Revenue Authorities.
- Preparation & Filing of Appeals with the Commissioner Appeals & Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR).
- Preparation of Arguments and other documentation with respect to hearing before the Authorities.
