Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program
Meet with the Service Operations Team and other teams in finance and the relevant point of contacts to understand the strategy of the function in line with company strategy and road map.
Develop in-depth understanding of Jazz Policies and Procedures and that of the Head Quarter.
Understanding the daily routine activities for Record to Report Head Quarter Team
Get first-hand experience of the month end closing process, budgeting and forecasting processes, including reporting requirements for Head Quarter Entities.
Within 60 days, you will:
Independent handling of all daily and closing activities i.e. transaction recording and reporting for Head Quarter Entities
Preparing variance analysis between budget/ forecast vs actual and between previous and current periods for Head Quarter Entities
Maintaining General Ledger Module in Oracle Financial, daily transactions and their reporting activities for Head Quarter Entities
Ensure compliance with SOX controls including documentation and reporting
Preparation of post-closing analysis and reports for higher management including Accounting Quality Assurance and Blackline reconciliations.
Prepare audit schedules/ workings and assist the auditors in their inquiries
Facilitating all stakeholders and responding their queries within time
Obtain forecasted annual costs and figures from all relevant departments in the Head Quarter
Engages with the concerned business units to identify material transactions in accordance with the guidelines of materiality principle and accounting threshold defined by the Group
Prepare the Budget and Business plan sheet for Head Quarter
Submit final Rolling Forecast on HPL
Communicate with Treasury team for funding requirements as needed
Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Identify and support implementation of end-to-end process improvement initiatives
Acquire a sound business understanding of the relevant R2R domain.
Prepare Statutory Financial Statements of Head Quarter Entities for filing purposes.
Act as a key contact person for resolution of queries from finance and non-finance departments.

A bit about us:
Based in Islamabad, as a Record to Report Team for the Head Quarter, our prime role is to act as an accounting and reporting arm for the Head Quarter, which is located in Amsterdam. This includes recording transactions in General Ledger, preparing the standalone and consolidated financial statements, variance analysis, support on external audits, and preparation of budget and forecasts for Head Quarter Entities.
The structure of the team you will join is:
A seven (7) member team which reports to Manager General Ledger.
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Timely and accurate monthly financial closing and budgeting & forecasting
Delivery of services as per agreed Service Level Agreements and KPIs.
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team.
You will work with all the Functions within Head Quarter and will have regular interaction with relevant finance & business teams.
What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration? 
The interactions will result in effective execution of accounting, reporting and budgeting process.
The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
Understanding of budgeting and forecasting and monthly closing processes
Detailed  knowledge of Financial Reporting & Analysis Techniques
Stakeholder management
The two (02) must have technologies the candidate should have.
