Responsibilities:
- Understanding company goals and defining product strategy to guide the product roadmap with long-term and short-term objectives and timelines.
- Convert long-term vision into product requirements and functionality - formulating, documenting, and communicating tactical, actionable requirements for product development.
- Develop functional specifications for new features based on industry best practices, scalability requirements, and existing product architecture.
- Take ownership of the customer and the customer interface making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives.
- Lead the development of the product roadmap through conducting user research, analyzing the competitive environment, and understanding key product metrics.
- Working with the Subject matter specialists (Remote Sensing, Agriculture) and translating requirements into a product, while driving technology for product development.
- Define product requirements and overall roadmaps of the business with clarity on feasibility, time, cost, and business impact.
- Work on productization of revenues (B2C, B2B and B2G)
- Work on product growth and make data driven decisions
- Analyzes behavior, usage and consumption data (internal and external) for informed decision-making including collecting industry intelligence and performing competitive analyses
- Prioritize the product backlog, participate in daily standups (PMO meetings)
Specifications:
- At least 6+ years of working in technology product-led company as a Product Lead, with strong expertise across product development, marketing, sales, and channel management, development of pricing strategies.
- Strong product management skills and experience, preferably in data and technology-enabled products and services. This includes not just the development of value propositions/positioning but also having managed multiple products (offering) holistically with a product P&L and Return of Investment responsibility throughout the life-cycle of products.
- Thorough understanding of Product management including UI/UX, Technical Product Management aspects and Business/commercial understanding
- A background and knowledge of Weather Advisory industry is a strong advantage.
- Working knowledge of digital products and platforms growth.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully launch new products and build profitable income streams
- Strong commercial acumen and leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- A team player able to work well with the technical and other teams to prioritize projects and accelerate time to market for new products.
