Lead SQA Responsibilities

  • Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and review test cases.
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities
  • Quality Assurance leads to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests procedures to ensure product quality.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Review the identified defects and JIRA.
  • Lead the  Testing Activities and train the team when required.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts, and other quality metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Well-versed with Internal Audit Standards & Government Guidelines.
  • Supervising Routine & Surprise Departmental Audits and generating reports
  • Evaluation of Internal processes based on the Sprint Feedbacks
  • Conducting/Assist follow-up audits and ensuring proper compliance

Lead SQA Requirements

  • Proven work experience in the software development industry
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in the QA Team Lead Role
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases and Qa related documentation
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Experience in Manual + Automation Software Testing
  • Software Standards knowledge ISO and CMMI is a Plus.
  • Must have good communication.
  • Must have leadership skills.
  • Must have experience with JIRA.
  • Self-Learner
