Research Assistant

This position reports directly to the Business Strategy Director of A-TEL. The Strategy Intern will work with the strategy team to help build up business strategy i-e how A-TEL enters agriculture market through smart phone applications. The candidate would be required to identify entry mode, target segment, prospective partners and market competition. The position will conduct market research and competitive analysis of agriculture market in Pakistan i-e consumer insight research, partnership channel for helping farmers with updated information on farming practices, revenue forecasts, pilot project plan, identify customer trends, market segments pain points, key customer references, and potential product gaps, financial analysis and then provide implications and recommendations to influence the entry strategy to market.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop strategy how A-TEL enters the agriculture market through enterprise level application
• Conduct market analysis and consumer research for the pain point of farmers and most critical information that is required by them through our application and other partners
• Assess the gap between our current product partner and local business requirements
• Develop solution to fill and mitigate the gap and issues against A-TEL
• Establish channel and sales partnership strategy i-e local or international

Qualifications:

• In depth knowledge of marketing and strategy methodology for startup business segment
• Self-starter able to work with different nationalities and professional styles
• Passion for marketing and strategy development
• Ability to present to C-Level stakeholders

Candidate Requirements:

• Fresh or Recent Graduate
• Local Pakistan ICT industry experience or in-depth knowledge
• Excellent writing, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Good presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (power point, excel).
• Fluent in English
