About the Candidate:

A creative content creator with a solid understanding of content creation, social media platforms and using data insights to optimise reach and engagement. Ideally you have in-depth knowledge about the current social media trends, tools, sensitivities and best practices; self-motivated and full of ideas, with the ability to conceptualize and deliver content from a brief as well as independently. The individual is a confident communicator with minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience of content creation and digital media management.

This full-time role based at Islamabad office will contribute in developing multi-channel social media strategy and creative content to enhance awareness and engagement on organization’s social media platforms that effectively reflect the impact of our work and supports the communication objectives. This role will also contribute more widely to delivering storytelling content across written and visual formats including graphics and videos. This role will ensure our communications meet ethical communications guidelines and resources are managed carefully.

  • Forward planning to develop content plan of ongoing projects.
  • Capturing content, video and photos of ongoing projects and activities.
  • Create and post engaging and relevant content that showcases the impact of programs and enhances engagement on the organization’s social media platforms.
  • Make short videos about the organization's work, produce subtitles, and assist with non-linear editing.
  • Online community engagement, responding to DMs and comments.
  • Updating website and social media pages of the organization.
  • Producing blog articles for the website and social media pages.
  • Attend organizational activities, and workshops, and produce write-ups, learning blogs, and concept notes for new initiatives. 
  • Collect information about the projects' activities, and produce and take out monthly newsletters.
  • Produce monthly social media analysis report for review of the management.
  • Facilitate programs team in monitoring projects progress, implement activities and ensure posting of timely updates on website and social media pages.
  • Draft, edit and proofread communication materials and reports.

Any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in content creation, digital media campaign development and management.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English language skills.
  • Adept with digital communication tools and social media platforms;
  • Has the ability to shoot short videos, edit them, and upload on the organization's social media platforms.
  • Attention to detail and editing and proofreading skills.
  • Able to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Self-driven, well-organized with an ability to work in teams and under tight timelines.
  • Has desk research skills and can produce write-ups.

Remuneration:

PKR 70,000 – 80,000
