  • Daily supervision of the housekeeping staff, including the daily planning & forecasting of staff.
  • Cleaning of all offices, concourses, seating areas, regular carpet shampooing, washrooms cleaning, cafeteria, & all area of hospital. Ensuring cleanliness of hospital & Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
  • Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory maintaining Excel Sheet of same
  • Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of Patient Satisfaction.
  • Conduct pre-event inspections of all rooms take corrective action with in team.
  • Recruit, schedule and train all new housekeeping staff members.
  • Maintain the housekeeping budget, providing billing summaries and expenses for all pre and post events.
  • Knowledge of safety standards within Housekeeping department.
  • Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged of housekeeping equipment.
  • Manager should provide daily, weekly and monthly report to higher management.
  • Ensure that the housekeeping staff is working in accordance to the hospitals rules

  • Guide team to Guide team to Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols & to clean hospital floors and surfaces using prescribed cleaning methods and procedures
  • Guide team to Make beds using clean and disinfected linen and replenish supplies such as towels, blankets, soaps and shampoos
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies with the help of team. Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies
  • Effectively coordinated and monitored disposal of hospital waste
  • Informed other operating departments about Housekeeping matters to ensure accurate rooms status.
  • Reported any unusual happening on the floors and in the public area concerning patients and employees.
  • Reported any missing items and eventual damage done by the patients immediately HoD
  • Coordinated and follow up schedule of the rooms for deep cleaning. Ensured regular Pests control/fumigation procedures.
  • Followed up on progress of agenda items covered in regular meetings.
  • Guided outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.
