- Oversee the entire import/export process, from sourcing and procurement to final delivery.
- Manage import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.) for accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics and timely deliveries.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with international suppliers and secure the most favorable contracts.
- Ensure adherence to all import/export regulations and international trade laws.
- Monitor and analyze import/export costs to identify areas for cost reduction.
- Prepare import/export reports and presentations for management.
- Identify new international trade opportunities and develop strategies for expansion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, customers, and government officials.
- Stay updated on the latest import/export regulations, industry trends, and international trade practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in import/export management.
- Proven experience in international trade practices, including incoterms, customs clearance, and trade finance.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and legal requirements specific to Pakistan (a plus).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Experience with import/export software (e.g., ERP systems) is a strong asset.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
