Manager housekeeping are in charge of overseeing and directing the cleaning activities
Responsible to prepare and plan work schedules and handles customer service and complaints as well
Managing and controlling the linen and equipment supplied
Daily supervision of the housekeeping staff, including the day, event and post-event crews
Maintain the housekeeping budget, providing billing summaries and expenses for all pre and post events
Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment
Monitor and perform inventories weekly / monthly. Ensure enough guest supply, linen supply and uniform
Ensuring the implementation of roster by keeping countercheck on it
Accomplish all the other tasks assigned by senior line of reporting
5-10 years of prior Supervisory/ Management experience in 4/5 star Hotel
Flexible with schedule and a hands-on operational leader
Must have sound knowledge of laundry operations and inventory management
Problem solver with the ability to be pragmatic and lead a team of over 20 personnel
Liaise exceptionally with other departments and execute projects in a timely manner
Attentive to detail and be able to train the team first hand
