Overall Responsibilities;

To receive, store and secure all supplies brought in to the pharmacy under his control. To ensure that proper documentation is maintained for all stocks.

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities;

He/She will

Assist the Pharmacy supervisor in ensuring the maintenance of medicine and medical equipment’s stock and storage as per WHO drug management guidelines.
Assist in Keeping and maintaining the Daily pharmacy registers.
Assist in Updating Bin cards on daily basis.
Assist in Maintaining separate Bin Cards for pharmacy Store items.
Assist in keeping Prescription records and maintain Daily tally registers.
Assist in Preparing and keeping daily, weekly and monthly consumption documents.
Follow the advices of the medical doctor in filling out medical prescriptions.
Proper dispensing as per EHSAR and WHO guidelines.
Maintain the stock register and the minimum stock level of medicine as per need.
Provide regular updates of medical stock, drug consumption and monthly requests to the Medical Doctor.
Provide feedback to the medical doctor/medical supervisor in issues related to the drug management, consumptions, expiry dates, stock and monthly supply of health facilities
Ensure quality control of medicine and medical equipment’s in the health facilities.
Provide health promotion training to the community during drug distribution.
Proper session with patients while dispensing medicines.
Pharmacy Health Care waste Management.
Fulfill any other tasks as assigned by supervisor (s)

It was, registered in 2007 with DSW/NWFP/2804, Under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance 1961 (XLVI of 1961). EHSAR operates in all Districts of Pakistan, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, six Frontier Regions (FR) and Seven (Federally Administered Tribal Area) FATA Agencies.
