We are hiring again and looking for experienced PHP/Wordpress developers. In this role, you will be the key person, working in collaboration with the Project Manager, Graphics team, Quality Assurance Team, and Content / SEO team to help deliver WordPress and other PHP projects within agreed budget and deadlines.
The ideal candidate should have Analytical and Logical skills along with:
- Proven experience developing/customizing Wordpress themes and plugins
- Excellent front end development experience
- A passion for core PHP and OOP based frameworks
- Can effectively communicate and manage expectations on all fronts.
Qualifications:
- Highly-motivated web developer with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience with PHP and familiar with XHTML, HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery and general Web 2.0 techniques
- 1+ years of experience as a WordPress developer with experience building custom Themes, Plugins, and Widgets
- Proficiency in software engineering best practices and the use of JSON/AJAX/XM techniques
- Expertise in building responsive and scalable sites for all platforms
- Experience with Common Development tools (Git, etc)
- Experience with object oriented analysis/design
- Familiarity with relational databases, preferably MYSQL and Oracle
- Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST
- Contributor to Magento, Drupal, Joomla or similar open source projects will be a plus
- Basic knowledge of CodeIgnitor will be a plus
