A speech therapist will perform following tasks :

Identify children's developmental speech and communication difficulties/disorders
Assess and advise treatment for communication difficulties to the parents
Devise, activities helpful for the students
Advise parents on treatment programmes available
Assess communication environment of the student (in school and after school) by
probing the matter;
Monitor and evaluate students’ progress;
Work with the students on a one-to-one basis, and in groups, to deliver therapy;
Write and maintain confidential student case notes and reports, as well as information for the record of school;
Work with the teachers to improve the effectiveness of service delivery.
Set result oriented objectives;
Devise plan and deliver training sessions and file them for the record;
