Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for the Monitoring and Evaluation of the project activities. He /She will also be responsible for other M&E related tasks including assistance in cleaning data and reporting.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

Regularly monitor all the trainings under the project and evaluate quality of the training by following the developed plan.
Provide recommendations to the staff for effective implementation of activities to the project objectives.
Carry out regular visits to FFS to see the effectiveness of the training and taking experiences of the farmers for further improvement.
Reviewing the FFS implementation mechanism and undertake appropriate actions for necessary changes.
Assist in Designing performance monitoring & evaluation tools for Farmer Facilitators and Master Trainers and Trainers/ Facilitators.
Assistant in periodic performance monitoring of FFS Trainings both Livestock and Agriculture.
Undertake necessary actions for accomplishment of planned monitoring/follow-up activities by the project to the Farmer Field Schools.
Guide district teams to undertake appropriate actions to ensure quality delivery of services.
Assist in Collecting and analysing training reports and provide necessary feedback to the District In charge.
Capture and write lessons learned, success stories/good practices on the FFS trainings, their effectiveness and results.
Assist in conducting the impact analysis studies periodically and share its finding with team and Core Office.
Assist in conducting the pre and post evaluation of the farmers.
Assist in Developing M&E guidelines to monitor the project activities to ensure the project success.
Assist in developing, reviewing and compiling weekly, monthly, bi-annual report, data summaries, as per donors requirement
Prepare field visit report, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Regular follow-up and report on the compliance status of monitoring visit recommendations for quality assurance.
To coordinate quarterly data collection, analysis of findings and sharing progress report to the project and relevant Core management team.
To prepare and review detailed implementations plans, work break down as per projects requirement
Assist Project Sr. M & E Officer in designing M & E formats.
Any other task assigned by the supervisor related to Monitoring & Evaluation

Required Qualification and Skills:

Masters degree in social/development studies or in Information Management with 3 years of relevant experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Command on MS Office.
