Functional Responsibilities:The Technical Writer will be responsible to perform the following tasks:

Responsible for the preparation/updating and maintenance of all technical documents including but not limited to project documents, user guides/manuals , installation guidelines, process flows, product feature documents to be used in the organization and outside by the client/end users in easy and understandable language
Responsible to write new documents from scratch and/or update the existing documents in consultation with the technical department
Developing documents keeping in mind the clients (internal/external) requirements and expectations (who they are, what they do and what they expect form us)
Responsible for gathering data from clients and users in order to develop comprehensive documents
Graphical representation of data/information in tables , chats, flow diagrams etc. using Ms. Visio and other related software
Preparation of power point presentations on new documents to be presented to internal and external stakeholders
Assist in the development of project proposals to be summited to clients for both products and services
Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Education and Experience

A Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Business Administration or any other relevant discipline. Bachelor’s degree with an additional 2 years of work experience will also be considered in lieu of Master degree requirement
At least 3-4 years of technical writing experience
Experience in an Engineering, IT/telecom company will be a plus.

Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication Skills
Excellent skills in using MS Visio, excel, power point
Ability to work on multiple documents at a time
Ability to plan and prioritize tasks as per the project requirements
Ability to work under pressure and work under strict deadlines
