1. Relationship Building

Build & manage relationships with external and internal communications stakeholders, including Media, industry and internal departments

2. Communications Strategy

Assist the HoD/Manager and collaborate with the Marketing team
in devising the LUMS Communication Strategy
Monitor and ensure that this Strategy is reflected across all University communications including print media, online media, digital media, publications, news, press releases etc.

3. Development of Communication Material

Work with the Marketing team to develop communication for University publications including Newsletters, Brochures, flyers, reports, advertisements, feature reports etc.

4. Custodian of LUMS Brand

Ensure that LUMS identity is safeguarded with correct use of logo

5. Event Management & Coverage

Manage external/internal University events and their coverage with the Communication team

6. Custodian of the LUMS Website and Social media

Manage the University Website and its updates and ensure its alignment with the University brand guidelines and Marketing/Communications Strategy
Work with the Digital Marketing Specialist to develop and monitor social media communication, including tracking and analytic

7. Planning & Budgeting

Assist the HoD to prepare department budget according to the agreed plans
