Main Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, configure and provide ongoing maintenance of multiple SAP landscapes - ECC 6.0, SAP R/3, Solution Manager, SAP BI, SAP HR, SAP SRM, XI/PI, Enterprise Portals, SAP GRC, and other SAP components
- Provide operations support for SAP systems and technical infrastructure, including but not limited to transport administration, printer administration, user accounts and authorization
- Administer and ensure that system service-level patches and backups are in place for all technical components related to the SAP solution.
- Proactively monitor systems and perform root cause analysis of production, QA and development system issues using CCMS, Solution Manager and other 3rd party software.
- Install, configure, upgrade, migrate and patch Oracle and SQL Server databases in a mixed environment covering Linux, Unix and Windows servers
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the company’s SAP applications owners, IT Infrastructure team and OS/Network team.
- Take a leadership role in the architecting, development and management of SAP systems, policies, practices, standards, and directions worldwide.
Requirements:
- Master or Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or Information Technology from an HEC recognized university
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
Technical Skills:
- Proven SAP systems delivery and/or system administration knowledge across the suite of major SAP applications versions like SAP R/3, ECC-6.0, SCM-5.1, Net weaver 2004S (BW, PI & Portal), Solution Manager-7.x, CRM-7.0.
- In depth knowledge of SAP Basis on multiple SAP environments (Linux, Unix, Windows)
- Familiarity with production Oracle and SQL Server environments including PL/SQL, OEM Grid control, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, partitioning, database tuning and troubleshooting
- Extensive experience in administering ECC 5, ECC 6, GRC 5.3, BW, XI/PI and other Net weaver components
- Strong working knowledge of SAN, OS, Network and advanced hardware concepts
- Strong working knowledge of system administration and application administration procedures, not limited SAP.
