The Manager Accounts shall be responsible for performing the following tasks:
• Managing all the accounting functions at the mill site.
• Managing the accounting, payments and other matters relating to cane procurement.
• Overseeing Fixed Asset Management, Financial Modeling, Analysis & Valuation, Voucher Management, Sales, Petty Cash Management, Financial Statement Analysis and Bookkeeping.
• Managing all the payments and receipts and devising appropriate strategies to ensure that the company’s working capital requirements are fulfilled.
• Handle all the dealings and operations with the banks and other financial institutions to ensure the availability of finance for the company.
• Coordinating with the different sections of the organization to ensure due compliance of the policies and procedures of the company.
• Communicate with the external and internal auditors on a regular basis to ensure that the audit of the company is managed effectively.
• Ensuring effective devising of the company’s financial statements in accordance with the applicable IFRS and IAS.
• Ensuring compliance with the taxation and other applicable laws and regulations.
