 Job Objective

 The objective of this job is to ensure efficient management of organization’s cash flows with the purpose of maximizing interest income and liaise with banks to provide efficient solutions for liquidity management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage collections & disbursements of funds (Cash Management) accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with financial institution so as to ensure the availability of funds or investment opportunities are available as and when required. In both cases to ensure that the rates of interest are most favorable.
  • Impose exposure limits on banks and ensure that the limits imposed are adhered to.
  • Supervise the company’s treasury and fund management function; ensuring compliance with company policies for treasury management; prudent investment & divestment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard the organization’s funds and to ensure availability of funds when required and to invest surplus cash when available in accordance with organization’s policies.
  • Prepare Cash Forecasting
  • Ensure that best rates are negotiated and optimal balance sheet structure is maintained.
  • Help organization in developing and strengthening the internal controls and systems.
  • Provide regular presentation to the Treasury Management Committee (TMC).
  • Obtain quarterly update on the expected repayments & disbursement of funds to Partner Organizations.
  • Provide updates/information to the senior management as and when required on the financial market and as such place fund according in order to avail advantage whenever possible.

 Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other attributes

  • CA / CA Finalist / ACCA / ACMA. Article ship completed candidates will be given preference.
  • At least 5 years Finance & Accounts / Financial Management experience preferably in Treasury & Fund Management. Development sector experience would be an added advantage.
  • Strong report writing, and creative skills with the ability to comprehend financial information and knowledge of different investment forums like commercial banks, investment companies, government securities and stock exchanges.
  • Excellent Team Management Skills and Team Working Skills to work in a inter unit and cross functional team.
  • Good Negotiation Skills and Strategic Management Skills.
  • Good Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Relationship Management Skills.
