Skills required
- WordPress is built on PHP with HTML, CSS & JavaScript. So besides these obvious skill sets,
- WordPress developer should have a good understanding of it’s CMS functionalities, codebase architecture & most importantly – community & entire ecosystem.You MUST be proficient in JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS including cross-browser compatibility, performance.
- Version control systems such as Git.Experience in building WordPress plugins/functionality.WordPress Theme hierarchy.
- WordPress actions/filters API.
