Senior Planning Engineer

The Planning Engineer will play a critical role in our project management team by developing and overseeing project schedules, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction planning, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed project schedules and plans using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
Monitor and track project progress, updating schedules as necessary to reflect changes and ensure timely completion.
Analyze project data to identify potential risks, delays, and critical path issues, and propose mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with project goals.
Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct schedule impact analysis for changes and variations to the project scope.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and resource allocation plans.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in project meetings and provide input on planning and scheduling aspects.
Support the development of project methodologies and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the construction industry.
Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PSP) is a plus.
