My professional life started in 2006 when I first joined a consultant company as Management consultant. I was sent to garment factory to look after their HR matters. I started to work as HR Executive and my core responsibilities were to maintain the record of around 800 employees, payroll, distribution of leaves etc. Also, conducting internal compliance audits and assist the international auditors of compliance, security, quality control on behalf of factory administration.
In 2008, I changed my direction and joined an e-commerce company called RightClick Inc. Initially, my department was HR which after few months changed to Customer Support. I was given an opportunity to excel my career in International sales and customer service. Later on, I was promoted to team lead position and had given a team of around 6 personals to supervisor in the day and night shifts with two major projects to manage. In those projects, from order sales to post order submission issues, all operational matters were under my command. During my tenure with RightClick, I also able to polish my skills in web development, SEO and content writing.
Currently working on a couple of projects, with many writing/ designing projects in the pipeline. I take care of;
Web design and development using HTML5, CSS, and Wordpress
Developed a CMS for order management and client-writer correspondence
Optimised websites for search engines with tasks, such as:
Keyword research
On-page copy optimisation for search engines
Indexing of pages on various forums
Google Analytics | Google Adwords | Bing Adwords
Evaluation of competitors using SEMRush, Ahref, MOZ
Stay updated with current SEO trends, methods for link building
My core responsibilities to deal with the visitors come to the websites.
Try to convert them into customers.
Resolve the pre-sales apprehensions they have.
Find a suitable writer/ designer to perform the job.
Resolve the post-order submission issues.
Handling of customer complaints or any major incidents, such as a security issue, Issuing refunds or compensation to customers, discounts or a customer being taken ill.
Educating customers regarding new products, services via newsletters, preferred customer promotions, sale notifications, new service announcements, greetings and more.
