Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Requirements: ACCA or CA Foundation qualification with completed articles.

Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in accounting and financial management. Real estate experience is advantageous.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, with the ability to handle large data sets effectively.

Knowledge Base: Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and meticulousness in all tasks.

Leadership Abilities: Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Tax Expertise: In-depth knowledge of tax matters and compliance requirements, ensuring all relevant regulations are followed and tax returns are filed timely.

Audit Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Maintenance: Prepare and maintain precise financial records, including ledger accounts and financial statements.

Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends and discrepancies.

Policy Enforcement: Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

Audit Coordination: Oversee annual audits, providing recommendations for improvements.

System Improvement: Enhance systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as necessary.

Project Assignment: Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Financial Reporting: Meet financial accounting objectives by ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to all tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns.

Audit Support: Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities.

Procedure Assessment: Evaluate current practices and procedures, making recommendations for improvements.

Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

Staff Development: Supervise and develop staff through performance management and ongoing training.
