Job profile summary

Provides customer service to the employee and candidate population, and supports Travel team members to Coordinate travel services for SNL Financial.

Job Functions

Researches travel industry for air, hotel, train, car, and travel services and directions.
Purchases travel services, including air, hotel, train and car travel and lodging.
Establishes and maintains travel related accounts.
Creates detailed itineraries for travelers utilizing MS Office and the internet
Completes other assignments as requested.
Maintains accurate and update to date travel data in travel spreadsheet. Performs data backfill as needed.
Schedules Corporate Lodging as requested via Outlook Calendar
Reconciles travel costs, invoices, refunds, etc.
Work on Visa processing

Work Experience:

One or more years travel and event planning experience and/or aptitude helpful.
Fresher with insight of corporate travel knowledge
Domestic and overseas travel knowledge/experience very helpful

Required Knowledge, Skills and abilities:

Intermediate to Advanced software proficiency utilizing MS Office Products and internet to complete research and complete travel-related services.
Knowledge of airline industry. Incumbent exercises independent discretion and judgment.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Must be very detail oriented.
A personable and professional manner is required for both face-to-face and telephone contact.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities/deadline.

Note: This is a permanent Night shift (8:00pm - 5:00am)
