POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Human Resource Manager, you’ll be responsible of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development. The ideal candidate should have worked in Retail/FMCG/Manufacturing
Job Responsibilities:
As a HR manager, you will have to:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the overall business objectives.
2. Oversee the recruitment process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
3. Manage employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees while addressing any employment-related issues that may arise.
4. Conduct performance management processes to drive high performance and employee development.
5. Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
6. Provide support and guidance to management and other staff regarding HR issues.
7. Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and promote a positive corporate culture.
8. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor regulations.
9. Manage HR metrics and provide reports to executive management to aid in decision-making.
10. Manage the payroll process & ensure timely submission of payroll for disbursement.
11. Lead HR projects, such as the implementation of new HR systems or policies.
12. Collaborate with the other relevant departments to ensure seamless cross-functional operations.
13. Any other Ad-hoc responsibilities as and when assigned.
Job Requirements & Job Qualification:
1. 5-7 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist, ideally within the food retail and manufacturing industry.
2. Broad knowledge of human resources functions, from hiring to onboarding, employee compensation, and labor laws.
3. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving conflicts and issues.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on negotiation and persuasion.
6. Masters/Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHRi or CIPD) preferred.
