Summary
The position is required to develop and support in development of project / programme proposals for funding by using PCM principles and WWF Network Standards. Maintain positive working relationships with the GAAs in Pakistan. Secure funding for proposals from the GAAs, Trusts & Foundations, WWF Network and the corporate sector. The incumbent should have a pleasant, dynamic and communicative personality and the ability to engage and convince others.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop and support in development of project / programme proposals for funding by using PCM principles and WWF Network Standards;
2. Develop and maintain active relationships with the GAAs located in Pakistan;
3. Secure funding for proposals developed from the GAAs, WWF Network, Trusts & Foundations and Corporate sector in Pakistan;
4. Facilitate in selection of national conservation priorities and their alignment with those of WWF Network;
5. Ensure programme alignment with GAA priorities where appropriate;
6. Supervise Project Administration work and WWF Connect;
7. Support various programmes in annual planning and monitoring as per guidelines provided in the 5 Year Strategic Plan & Critical Contributions;
8. Facilitate mainstreaming of WWF International’s Programme Standards in WWF projects and programmes and build capacity of concerned staff in better understanding of these standards;
9. Supervise the Internal Monitoring & Evaluation;
10. Review and comment on policy and position papers;
11. Conduct research studies for WWF-Pakistan projects;
