A designer's job at zeesocial (pvt) Ltd may involve managing more than one design brief at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time accordingly. Typical activities include:

Meeting clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives, requirements of the job
Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
Interpreting the client's business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites
Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of time.
Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers.
Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief.
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design in programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Adobe premiere and Flash.

Graphic designers work mainly nine-to-five, but deadlines may require working additional hours.

Qualifications and training required:

Preference will be given to those with relevant degrees. A degree in graphic design is advantageous although other art and design subjects will be accepted.

Key skills for graphic designers:
• Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
• Good knowledge of Adobe illustrator adobe Photoshop is required
• Exceptional creativity and innovation
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
• Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
