Role Summary:

The HRD Manager will report to the Vice Chancellor Office and be responsible for establishing the University Career Counseling and Career Planning Office at CUSIT.

The HRD Manager designs, implements and promotes the career development programs and training for the students and faculty of City University Peshawar.

The HRD Manager supports the university in finding the best internal talents and incorporates them into different talent pools of students and teachers with in the University.

The HRD Manager will ensure that each enrolled student in CUSIT receives career counseling and career planning guidance, and becomes market compatible before leaving the University for open recruitment and competition opportunities.

The HRD manager positively motivates the important stakeholders in the university and helps them grow the next generation of leaders for the organization while developing and setting standards of quality in-puts for students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops and leads the implementation of the career counseling, training and development strategy for university students and faculty.
  • Connects the career development strategy with the academic-working strategy and students-alumni strategy of the university for enhanced results
  • Identifies training and development needs of the students and accordingly designs effective programs for students’ development
  • Leads and manages the development and implementation of various career development activities-training for the enrolled students during the year
  • Regularly assess the results of development programs and share results with Vice Chancellor office
  • Promotes development programs in the organization in collaboration with senior stakeholders of the university
  • Sets the methodology for the assessment and corrective-career improvements strategies for students
  • Builds the functioning relationship with the top stakeholders
  • Leads strategic organization wide projects focused on the development of high potential and young leaders
  • Acts as the influencing member of the CUSIT delivery team.
