The Lead Database Developer is primarily responsible for serving as a technical/functional lead for database-centric software development projects of moderate-to-high complexity. Additional responsibilities include:
Can perform hands-on software development and design while serving as a functional lead
Handling multiple projects simultaneously
Following established company and department standards and best practices
Can prepare and review development plans and/or task checklists for assigned projects
Participate in estimations and code reviews
Assist Development Managers in allocation of appropriate resources
Required Skill Set:
Technical Experience: at least 5 year
Team Management: at least 3 year
Hands on experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle.
Database programing, design and management.
Good soft skills
Any database related certification will be plus point
Candidate having experience with any other relevant technology and programming language will be proffered
Good in performance tuning especially tuning complex queries, procedure and indexing strategies
Experience in Data Modeling, Database design and well versed with SQL Server or Oracle best practices
