A well established leading company based at Karachi is currently seeking Supply Chain Executive.
The incumbent shall manage growth and diversification with the company in accordance with the vision, mission, values and strategic objectives.
Candidate should possess excellent skills in planning and organizing, budgeting and team leadership with excellent negotiation & communication skills (both verbal & written),
Also well conversant with the Custom Laws/ Import Documentation & Duties and the principles of Supply Chain.
- To handle both local & import purchases & correspondence with suppliers for import.
- To follow up with all imported Raw Materials matters and its quality issues.
- Creating upcoming consignment report, keep follow ups to maintain the status and brief clearing agent for Custom Clearance, and logistics.
- Preparing and paying all duties and other require dues at the time of vessel arrived.
- Efficiently managing availability of products through all the stages including imports, custom clearance, and logistics warehousing.
- Ensure inventory management and control system are in place for the optimum utilization by managing/ monitoring minimum and maximum inventory level for major production items.
- Making schedule report of consignment tracking report, having major dates of consignment.
- Corresponding with Banks for LC and other financial purpose.
- Purchasing local raw material (MS Wire Rod).
- Arranging Domestic Transportation.
- Responsible for local procurement having process of price negotiation, Purchase Orders & delivery schedules.
- Arrange payment to local suppliers (Production Items) and other necessary payments including insurance premiums.
- Prepare documents for local loans.
- Taking D.O from banks for material and planning delivery accordingly.
- Making brief report of banks facility (Weekly Report) for Planning, Line Utilization and its Maturity dates.
- Wharfage and Demurrage Reports.
- Preparing Cost Sheets for consignments.
- Ledgers of Inventory level materials.
- Acquiring useful information from custom data.
