Projects Involvement:

• Tactical Access Node ( TAN ): Pakistan Air Force (PAF) project for Air Defense Communications to IP Architecture. The intended architecture is envisioned to transform all legacy and analogue AD Communication Circuits (Data, EM and voice) into IP traffic and provide IP connectivity to the AD sensors. Elements of the network have been designed to converge together into an Air Defense Network (ADN), that is independent of PAF IP Backbone (NGN) and reliable and secure enough to support vital AD operations.

• Tactical Radio Gateway (TRG): Defense communication system for Pakistan Army which communication is done through radio gateway. The work of TRG is to communication between different type of HF, VHF and UHF radios through IP network using Asterisk Sip Users.

• SmartRadioGateway(SRG):TheworkofSRGistocommunicationbetweendifferent hand held radios of army personal using IP based Asterisk Server. • Field Phone IP Gateway: Field Phone IP gateway used to communicate between IP phones ,Analog phones and hand held radios of Army personal.

• OpenNMS: Network Management System(NMS)/Element Management System(EMS) to implement the functions of fault / alarm management,configuration,accounting,performance, security, maintenance, testing all the management functions related to (FCAPS), environment/power monitoring of the access network.

• Microwave Point-to-Point Link: Established connection between different user end devices using point-to-point micro wave link for 3G and 4G.

1) Two months internship with Fast Engineering Services (FES) as a BSS engineer on HUAWEI equipment for Ufone
(SWAP ) project.
Responsibilites: Installation of new BSS cabinets and replace it with old cabinets
