JOB OVERVIEW
1. SM (F&MA) is responsible for budget & payments in the respective region.
2. Carries out pre-audit of payments also assists the internal/ external auditors.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Budget & Payments
- Prepare Regional Operating budget and to get funds allocations from Business zone and issuance of ceiling from PTCL HQ.
- Transfers of budget to Fund/ Cost Centers and withdrawal of thereof if needed in SAP Funds Management Module.
- Operate/ maintenance of Bank Accounts and to reconciliation of its.
- Processing of all kind of payments through Financial Modules of SAP-ERP (70 plus FC/CC of 3 Regions) and maintenance of payment records.
- Disbursement of salaries of employees to Banks through Pay Roll in HCM module of SAP.
Pre-Audit, Internal & External Audit
- Carry out Pre-audit of payments by observing all the prevailing financial and administrative rules and regulations of the company.
- Liaise and assist the internal as well as external auditors in the audit of accounts and subsequently compliance of audit observations and reports.
Filing of Monthly Reports
- Filing of monthly/ other periodical Tax/ Sales Tax Returns to concerned quarters.
- Submit MES to Business zone Lahore and HQ.
- Submit different schedules and statement to SM-N/L.
Administrative/ General Activities
- Perform general Administration of Regional Finance wing.
- Act as a Member of various committees set by Region as well as HQ.
- Participate in evaluation of Vendors Registration.
- Carry out physical inspection of work wherever demanded.
Prepare Status Updates
- Prepare reports to be presented to the management.
Undertake performance management
- Monitor and evaluate reporting employees.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- ACCA
- CIMA
- Chartered Accountant (ACA)
- Cost & Management Accountant (ACMA)
- Masters Degree (Finance) from a reputed university
EXPERIENCE
- 05-08 years of experience
- Extensive Financial Management experience
- Proven track record in handling Financial Activities and managing obligations to funding partners
- Solid understanding of applicable accounting principles and in particular, those related to the E&P environment
- In depth exposure to ERP financial solutions
