We need a Junior Graphic Designer who want to make a career in Printing/Packaging Industry. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the success of the department in various key areas including assisting with the creation of packaging visuals.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Using all major Design Softwares on a daily basis to assist the team with current projects
- Translating packaging visuals into accurate packaging mockups made by hand for presentation.
- Experience of designing packaging nets and cutter guides.
- Knowledge of print processes. Knowledge of large-scale packaging production processes a bonus.
- Ability to produce packaging artwork for print.
- Excellent awareness of trends in packaging and typography.
- Working to tight deadlines.
Skills required
- Fluent in latest Adobe Creative Suite CC software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Willingness to learn new skills and quickly take on board information.
- Experience working in digital design
- Highly organised
- Very good attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
