- Conducts professional development related to district-wide:
- Teaching and learning strategies, processes and procedures
- Requirements of assigned programs and initiatives
- Formative assessments o job-embedded professional development
- Reports for programs and initiatives
- Coaches identified personnel in academic matters related to:
- Data analysis
- Instructional goals setting
- Acquisition of deep knowledge of content concepts
- Facilitates the progress, design and delivery of district wide academic matters
- Must be able to help adults respond to these major questions:
-What do students need to learn and do?
-How will we know they've learned it?
-What happens if students did not learn it?
-What happens if they already know it?
- Coordinate various faculty searches and maintain faculty search database.
- Manage orientation, training and relocation for new faculties.
- Provide support and guidance to academic trainees.
- Collaborate with faculty to conduct new student/Teacher workshops.
- Develop and manage comprehensive academic support program.
- Provide guidance to students on academic goals and educational issues.
- Assist students on course selection, study habits and career selection.
- Prepare and maintain student records according to district policies and administrative regulations.
- Work with parents, teachers and counselors to address students’ behavioral, academic, and other problems.
- Assist in updating lesson content and instruction methodology.
- Assist in development of training modules and programs.
- Coordinate with teachers and center coordinators to develop lesson plans and materials.
