Objective 1
Clean the office
Tasks & responsibilities
- Clean/Dust all desks, cupboards, floors, curtains, windows, bathrooms, corridors, garden and the kitchen as and when required.
- Dusting on daily basis.
- Keeps all materials in kitchen clean and in good order.
- Responsible for cleanliness of the kitchen; washes kitchen on daily basis.
- Uses chlorinated water for washing kitchen utensils and floor.
- Responsible of taking care of every material related to cleanliness.
- Clean and disinfect the washrooms every day.
- To make sure that the towels in the washrooms are changed regularly.
- Clean the windows and doors as and when required;
- Inform supervisor in advance about the need of all hygiene items.
- In case of damage or loss of materials informs supervisor about it.
- Clean the refrigerator on a regular y basis
- Empty the wastepaper baskets and incinerate their contents.
- Clean and disinfect the toilets.
- Clean and disinfect the water filters and fill them up.
Objective 2
Prepare coffee and tea for the staff
Tasks & responsibilities
- Is responsible for the preparation coffee and tea twice per day
- Is responsible for used in the kitchen utensils
- Uses the required amounts of each product, according to recipe.
- Washes hands before the preparation of meal.
- Follows the hygiene rules for the preparation of coffee and tea.
- Keeps materials in clean and good order.
- Is responsible for cleanliness of the kitchen
- Uses chlorinated water for washing kitchen utensils and floor.
Skills
ESSENTIAL
- At least 2 year similar field work in INGO ideally in a similar role.
- Able to manage work and time.
- excellent Knowledge and practice of Hygiene principles and personal hygiene
- Ability to keep good track of Kitchen/food expenses.
PREFERRED
- Cooking experience would be a plus point.
- Familiarity with humanitarian principles and methodologies.
