Implementation n of Project Activities

Tasks & responsibilities

 

  • To plan daily, weekly, and Monthly activities in accordance with the main project work plan,
  • To ensure timely implementation of activities as per project and planning requirements;
  • To follow-up of the quality of field activities implemented;
  • To deal with field problems according to ACF procedures and regulations;
  • To maintain records of the technical implementation in electronic form;
  • To ensure timely communication with line manager on project issues that require change of plans;
  • Enrollment of the HHs for Cash and food Voucher programs on specified criterion
  • Distribution of Cash food vouchers on monthly basis
  • Coordinate with food voucher vendors and Cash service providers
  • Provide support and feedback on eligibility and ineligibility criteria
  • Inform beneficiaries about the procedures involved in cash and voucher transfers
  • Develop consent form and sign with each village under study.
  • Assist immediate manager in designing movement plans

 

Objective 2

Co-ordination

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly review meetings and provide feedback on progress and challenges
  • Participate in daily meetings before leaving for field
  • Guide teams on using HaemoCue analysers for haemoglobin test on monthly basis
  • Work closely with and Research Mobilizers for data collection execution
  • Communicate aims and objectives of the study with community and respondents
  • Establish good relationship with the Taluka and UC authorities and community leaders
  • Establish a good understanding of the program within the community

Objective 3

Reporting Responsibilities

Tasks & responsibilities

 

  • To produce regularly project activity reports from the area of operation as per reporting schedule or when needed;
  • To report any changes in the context to allow for timely changes in the project activities.

 

Objective 4

Adhere to ACF policies and procedures

Tasks & responsibilities

 

  • Collect and report any new security information, incident or any change of the context to the line manager
  • Respect the security guidelines as set in the Program Security Plan.
  • Follow ACF charter and gender policy during working with ACF.

 

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences/Nutrition/Rural Development/Anthropology/Sociology from HEC recognized Institute
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
Work Experience:
• 3 Years of relevant experience on similar position with 2- Years of relevant experience with NGOs/INGOs
• Previous experience of leading team in research and assessments
Other Skill and Essential Attributes:
• Ability and willingness to frequently travel to villages and stay at the field
• Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions like long distance walking to villages
• Ability to work in an environment where there are physical discomforts associated with change in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust or dirt
• Fluent in Sindhi and English
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to operate Android phones for data collection
PREFERRED
• Knowledge of local area
• Experience on electronic data collection system will be preferred
• Ability to take initiative where appropriate to deal with difficulties encountered in daily work.
• Good community mobilization skills.
