Objective 1: Management of ICT Infrastructure (Hardware, Software & Networks)
· Ensure ICT equipment and networks remain in good functional condition
· Conduct the troubleshooting (E-mail, Hardware & Software)
· Responsible for installation / setting -up of software and hardware
· Maintain database of all ICT equipments along replacement plan for old equipments
· Design and implement the computer networks
· Ensure the smooth running of official e-mail server in coordination with HQ
· Ensure that all measures taken to safeguard ICT equipment from threats (theft, stealing, damage, hacking, piracy)
· Set- up data back-up system / facilitate the department in taking back-up of data
· Manage the stock of ICT supplies
· Manage the disposal of old ICT equipment
· Monitor the communication cost of all bases
Objective 2: Development & Implementation of ICT procedure
· Adopt ICT procedures (Kit Log 3.3) according to local context
· Implementation of ICT procedure as per Kit Log 3.3
· Ensure that ACF ICT procedure are comply with local legislation
· Ensure that ACF ICT infrastructure has compliance with applicable local / international legislations.
Objective 4: Awareness and Capacity Building
· Conduct the training for users on basic software (MS Office) and use of computer
· Conduct awareness sessions for users on use of ICT equipments and networks
· Develop the tutorial / users' guidelines on ICT issues
Objective 5: Special Support to other Departments & Field
· Initiate the procurement for ICT equipment / material and support procurement department in selection of equipment.
· Support program department in use of latest technologies and software (Data analysis software, ODK, Setting up databases)
· Support Higher management to set-up ICT procedure
Objective 5: Team Management
· Technically supervise the IT technicians on bases
· Prepare work plan for IT Technician for improvement
Objective 6: Reporting and archiving
· At the end of each month will provide the following reports:
o Communication cost monitoring
o Input for country equipment list (ICT Part)
· Responsible for archiving of:
o ICT Equipment Maintenance record (with support from Log officer)
o Detail of software (license information etc.)
Objective 7: Provision of additional support within logistic department
· Provide any other additional support whenever requested by direct supervisor within scope of ICT management
Skills
• BCS / BS in computer science preferably MCS / MS
• Certifications in Networking, Hardware and Databases preferred
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
• Minimum 4 years work experience in IT field including:
o Hardware / software troubleshooting in Windows based environment
o Designing and setting-up wireless / cable network (LAN, WAN, VPN)
o Management of Programmable networking hardware (switches, routers, firewalls etc.)
• Good communication skills and management skills
• Ability to identify problem and provide solutions
• Team player and ability to work with deadlines and/or under stress
PREFERRED
• NGO experience minimum 1 year
• Experience of application development (desktop / Web based)
• Experience of working / administration of databases
• Experience of Windows Server administration (web servers, exchange server etc.)
• Experience of working on Open Data Kit (ODK)
• Experience of other operating system / hardware (Apple, Linux etc.)
