OBJECTIVE

To provide assistance in, and assume responsibility for , the daily technical planning, supervision, monitoring and evaluation to ensure safe water, sanitation and hygiene promotion for the affected population targeted by ACF-Pakistan WASH intervention in operational areas.

A. To review the available tools and guidelines for assessment, KAP survey, case studies and impact monitoring.

B. Staff capacity building on KAP survey , case studies and impact monitoring

C. Filed data collection and report writing

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. To review the available tools and guidelines for assessment, KAP survey, case studies and impact monitoring.

  1. Collect WASH KAP TORs and questionnaires from all the bases and review them to have one standard guideline &questionnaire for ACF Pakistan
  2. Prepare the guideline for WASH case studies and human interest stories together with communication officer.
  3. Review the ongoing WASH impact monitoring in all the bases and follow up the implementation.

B. To supervise and build the capacity WASH program staff at field

  1. Implement the ACF KAP survey self learning module to all the WASH team in the field
  2. Train the field team including PMs on KAP survey guideline.
  3. Train and start one WASH case studies in all the bases. Analysis ongoing WASH impact monitoring in all the bases and provide additional training for teams.

C. Field data, analysis collection and reporting

1. Conduct 4 baseline survey and 3 end line surveys for WASH program in KPK and Sindh province together with field team.

2. Analysis and write report for all above 7 surveys according to work plan

3. Review all old ACF KAP survey and write lesson learnt report for ACF Pakistan

D. logistic and administration

1. Coordinate with logistic for all the procurements and transport for surveys according to needs

2. Follow up with finance manager for budgets

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL
• minimum of 4 years experience on KAP survey and impact studies in rural programs
• excellent analytical skill on WASH related issues
• Excellent report writing skill in English
• excellent communication skill
PREFERRED
• Working knowledge in Sindh and KPK provinces
