It seeks sustainable solutions to long-term problems of poverty, hunger, illiteracy and ill-health with special emphasis on the needs of rural communities in mountainous and other resource poor regions, primarily in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Its main areas of focus are education, health, rural development, environment and strengthening civil society.
The Aga Khan Foundation (Pakistan) [AKF(P)] is seeking high calibre professional for the following position to be based in Islamabad:EXECUTIVE SECRETARY TO CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER:S/he will perform a variety of administrative and secretarial duties.Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize activities and coordinate communications with internal and external stakeholders (nationally/internationally).
  • Maintain and circulate (when required) a variety of records, lists and files including confidential materials.
  • Provide regular support in preparing letters, reports, memoranda and other materials.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes and follow-up on action items, as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • The incumbent should have a Bachelors or higher degree supplemented by secretarial training with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Candidates with good written & spoken English, excellent interpersonal skills & knowledge of MS Office and ability to work in a diversified team environment are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to the candidates having adequate knowledge of shorthand skills.
