Job Summary
AMS power & Industrial Engineering Private Limited requires the services of a New Product Development Engineer, having both engineering and business degrees. The incumbent shall be responsible for exploring and developing new business lines for the company, by applying their expertise in both the engineering and business domains. The position requires a deep interest and passion for both technology and business.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Conducts R&D activities regarding upcoming and potential business areas that align with company’s background.
- Perform R&D activities that encompass engineering /technology exploration, market research and analysis, and business case development.
- Exploration and development of innovative engineering solutions in support of new, existing and future products/technologies by analyzing and modifying to achieve a new solution.
- Collect and maintain competitive information to present complete market evaluation for specific products/services that the company may be interested in offering to client.
- Identifies and keeps abreast of local markets conditions.
- Coordinating with vendors of industrial, electronic equipment and plants for the purpose of developing a business case/supply chain analysis.
- May be responsible for contributing to a number of different researches at one time.
- Identifying the Project/investment feasibility, and preparing reports.
- Provides engineering input to on-going development efforts.
- Achieve business objective by conducting industry, market and competition analysis.
- Applies research theories, principles, and models when conducting experiments and research activities.
- Plans, designs, and conducts research within multiple engineering related disciplines with minimal supervision.
Skills
• B.Sc Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/ Mechatronics /Chemical along with an MBA degree from a reputed institute.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in an engineering position or a business development position in an engineering organization.
• Highly develop and demonstrated skill.
• Having broad review of the engineering industry, energy/power sector, electronics etc.
