The Machine Stitching Department Incharge in a football manufacturing facility plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of the machine stitching department. This position involves managing a team of machine operators, ensuring the quality and efficiency of stitching processes, and coordinating with other departments to meet production goals.

Responsibilities:

1.   Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the machine stitching department, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.

2.     Quality Control: Ensure that stitching processes meet quality standards and specifications, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.

3.   Machine Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure that stitching machines are properly maintained and serviced to maximize uptime and productivity.

4.  Training and Development: Train new machine operators on stitching techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.

5.    Production Planning: Collaborate with production planners to develop and implement production schedules and prioritize orders to meet customer demands.

6.    Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of stitching materials, such as threads and needles, and coordinate with purchasing staff to replenish supplies as needed.

7.  Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures in the machine stitching department, conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members.

8.     Problem Solving: Address operational issues and challenges in the machine stitching department, troubleshoot machine malfunctions, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues to management when necessary.

9.    Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in stitching operations, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and quality.

10.  Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to stitching processes, production output, quality inspections, and personnel records.

Qualifications:

1.       BBA (Hons), BS. Mechanical or equivalent degree from a reputable institute.

2.   Proven experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the textile or sports equipment industry.

3.    Knowledge of stitching techniques, sewing machines, and related equipment used in football manufacturing.

4.   Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of machine operators.

5.    Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on approach to addressing operational challenges.

6.  Attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance in stitching processes.

7.  Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate instructions clearly to team members.

8.       Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing setting.

9.    Proficiency in basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing software.

10.  Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and production demands.

Since 1976, Anwar Khawaja Industries and Select Sports A/s, Denmark have a unique relationship rarely seen in todays business world. The company is producing balls exclusively for Select Sports, Denmark and at the same time whatever Select is marketing is produced by Anwar Khawaja Industries. It is however pertinent to mention here that there has never been a written agreement among these two organizations in this regard. The company is supplying more than 2.5 million balls annually to Select Sports and its customers world wide including Europe and America and has the capacity to produce 10,000 balls per day. Protective Gears. In 1983, the company diversified its operations and started making Protective Gears such as Leg guards, Chest Guards, Arm Guards and Gloves for Hockey and Cricket to cope with the demand of various customers.
