We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team and oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and team leadership. As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of products from arrival to shipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and managing a team of warehouse staff.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, storing, and organizing of incoming inventory. Implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels at all times.
- Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders in a timely and efficient manner. Monitor order accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Optimize layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and streamline operations.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control processes to ensure that all outgoing shipments meet our quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. Delegate tasks effectively to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate warehouse processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety awareness among warehouse staff.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with other departments, such as purchasing, customer service, and logistics, to coordinate activities and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in the ecommerce or retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
