We are a multinational web development company seeking an in-house, full time “PHP Web Developer” to assist with the creation and maintenance of stable, secure and scalable websites capable of handling high-volume traffic. We are looking for someone to be a part of the continued growth of our company.
The candidate must have 3+ years of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and User Interface.
The candidate MUST have knowledge & skill to work with any Proprietary and Open Source PHP modules and major frameworks (Codeignitor, Yii, Magento, OpenCart, and/or WordPress will be highly appreciated).
Major involvement will be in PHP based Systems, Custom Applications, E-Commerce and CMS. The candidate should be professional and be able to work in a team and individually.
The job will require the candidate to develop Web Applications utilizing latest trends and technologies like jQuery and AJAX etc.
- Strong communication and logical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging position.
· Experience of building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins.
· Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level:
· Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
· Creation of custom post types
· Creation of plugins/widgets written to conform with the WordPress coding standards
· Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code
- Should be an expert in PHP/HTML/XHTML/CSS/Ajax/JavaScript/JQuery
- Should be able to quickly grab the latest technologies
- Self starter with Go-getter attitude!
