Job Purpose:
- To support Security Manager in Security & Safety related electronic surveillance.
- To manager and oversee the activities of Plant CCTV system efficiently and effectively in accordance with Plant CCTV systems and procedures.
- To provide overall operation and monitoring of CCTV system as part of security department commitment to Plant community safety and to maintain and further develop linkages with external vendors in relation to CCTV matters.
- To investigate / inquire and forward violation in safety , security , controls with security Manager
Principal Accountabilities:
- To ensure the accurate recording of all events and action monitored from within control room, including the maintenance of daily log.
- To ensure that the control room and all equipment is maintained satisfactorily at all times by managing the CCTV maintenance contract, ensuring the faults are remedied within the terms of the contract.
- Ensure that all CCTV system matters are dealt with professionally, efficiently and in accordance with laid down procedures.
- Reporting of security and safety incidents to the security manager
- Co-ordination of surveillance and CCTV systems to support command and control where necessary.
- Ensure that accurate records are kept and all actions are logged and data stored to enable reports to be generated for analysis by the Management team.
- Ability to follow laid down response and escalation protocols.
- Generate Reports & Returns summarizing key activities.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Ability to monitor information feeds from multiple sources concurrently.
- Analyze information, record and report incidents.
- Previous experience of CCTV monitoring systems, within a high profile Control or Operations Centre.
- A good standard of IT competency (MS Office, CCTV systems)
- Good standard of verbal and written communications.
Knowledge, Experience and Competencies required:
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Identify and rectify fault in CCTV system
- Creative and show productivity
- Result oriented.
- Honest and devoted.
- Confidentiality oriented.
- Have knowledge on Plant electronic surveillance security
- Knowledge and grip on Security and safety subjects.
- Computer knowledge, communication skills & must display excellent behavior in the discipline
