Warehouse Manager
Responsible for overall management of warehouse including receiving, storage and distribution of material, transportation and logistics services, computerized inventory management, demand & supply analysis, appropriate utilization of manpower and their training and development.
Accountabilities:
Monitoring and managing the stock levels, space utilization to ensure timely and error free deliveries to retail stores.
Plan the dispatch process so as to ensure maximum utilization of vehicles as well as timely fulfillment of store requirements.
Establish a mechanism of efficient and secure material storage and movement practices to control and minimize product damages.
Analyze stock levels, establish automatic re-order levels, fast or slow moving items and manage stocks accordingly.
Ensure accurate operations of Warehouse and Stock Management System; coordinate with IT team for timely updation and modification in the system.
Monitor and control the loading of material in vehicles for dispatch to store.
Manage the deployment, utilization, training and development of subordinate warehouse staff.
Prepare stock analytics and report to management on regular basis.
Required Competencies:
Demand Planning and forecasting, Sound Communication and Coordination Skills, Analytical Skills, Leading and Developing Teams, and Computerized Inventory Management System.
Required Experience & Qualification:
Graduate, preferably MBA in Supply Chain, with 6 to 8 years of highly progressive experience in a large warehouse with voluminous daily transactions of multiple SKUs, ideally from a retail or FMCG industry.
