Cinnova is looking for a mid-level web developer (front-end) to program user interfaces for our web-based applications. Work with our extremely talented engineers for developing intuitive and elegant user interfaces using technologies like HTML5, AngularJS, AJAX, CSS3, and JavaScript. Ideal candidates should have strong UI/UX background with 3+ years of solid experience using the front-end technologies and a good exposure of back-end scripting languages as well.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop prototypes and production presentation-layer code for products, websites, and other customer-facing communications.
- Develop interactive presentation-layer code, using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JS.
- Research and develop JS libraries and re-usable components to ensure usability, standardization, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Convert designs from PSD to HTML & CSS with a focus on responsive web
- Work closely with the development team to integrate the presentation-layer code, using version control, QA tools, and additional development tools.
- Support visual designers with Adobe CS expertise as relating to front-end development.
- Development for cross-browser and version support, including graceful degradation to non-HTML5-compatible browsers.
- Find solutions to client problems in a range of CMS platforms (Wordpress, Magento etc)
Qualification and Experience:
- BS in Computer Sciences from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- 2-3 years of experience developing sites and templates using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of standards-based web development and browser and cross-platform compatibility.
- Experience with development of responsive interfaces and application frameworks: Bootstrap, Foundation or similar.
- Strong AJAX application development skills with some framework/library experience: AngularJS, Ember.js, Backbone, jQuery.
- Agile experience with Scrum/XP.
- Experience with source control repositories (SVN/GIT)
- Development experience in PHP/Magento will be a plus.
- Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
