Minimum two years of hands on experience on Linux (CentOS)/Redhat System Administration and windows operating system including http, DNS, mail server, shell scripting, trouble shooting etc.
a. Knowledge of disaster recovery methods and procedures.
b. Iptables, DNS, SMTP, apache, SSH, SSL, FTP
c. Storage technologies such as SAN, NAS and concepts of RAID levels.
d. Filesystem management of EXT3/4, NFS, iSCSI, XFS, and LVM.
e. VMWare ESXI virtual environments
f. Domain & Hosting, VPS, Co-locations, Cloud Computing, Web development.
g. Should be energetic ,having contacts in field (added advantage).

It was in the year 1996, when COMSATS launched its ISP services under the name of COMSATS Internet Services thus becoming the pioneer ISP of Pakistan. COMSATS is an international, inter-Governmental science organization, aiming at socio-economic uplift of the third world through useful applications of science and technology.
